I love doing day after dishes!!! Because it means something special happened the night before!

My heart is full after an evening with some of my dearest friends. One’s I have had for over 30 years. We haven’t all been together in two years because of Covid. Who could have imagined the last time we were together that the world would face a global pandemic that would shut down so many aspects of our lives? And yet life went on. We have all experienced so many things during this time we’ve been socially distanced: weddings, funerals, engagements, divorce, graduations, a retirement, a start of a new career, surgeries, health scares and more. I don’t think I realized how lonely I was until I re-experienced the warmth of my friendships.

One of the graces of Covid for me has been an increased appreciation for my family, friends, and those with which I share my life.

Cheers, my friends!! I’ve missed you.
